Asย theย Solution Engineer, you will partner with our sales executives as the key technical lead throughout the sales lifecycle of our business. Through this partnership, you will work in a consultative role toย assistย in the successful closing of new deals by performing technical presentations of AvePoint solutions and pre-sales support to our prospective and returning customers.ย
You're tasked with serving as a key technical resource through the sales cycle. That meansย you'llย need to become an authority in the features and benefits of our software and services solutions to properly educate customers, gain consensus, andย demonstrateย value solving theirย Googleย andย multicloudย concerns.ย
This role is for someone who wants toย utilizeย their technicalย expertiseย andย customer facingย skills in the dynamic tech industry. An understanding of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) within Google Workspace, GCP, and how clients may be tackling these problems is key. Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited Toย
- Present and demonstrate AvePoint's solutions to both business and technical users.ย ย
- Successfullyย facilitateย solution discovery, solution overview, and technical deep dive sessions with customers.ย ย
- Collaborate regularly with product management as a field representativeย regardingย product development and improvements, effectively conveying customer requirementsย
- Support AvePoint Marketing teams by developing and delivering productย writing and attending conferences.ย
- Build environments tailored to customer requirements as proof of concept during the sales lifecycle to illustrate product capabilities and how they align specifically with customerย objectives.ย ย
- Participate in writing proposals in response to RFIs / RFPs thatย showcaseย how the AvePoint product line provides solutions to the customer's business objectionsย
- Establishing relationships with key customer business and technical advocates that have the power to drive long-term AvePoint solution adoption within their companyย ย
- Developing customer's buying vision for how AvePoint can help them reduce costs and increase business agilityย ย
About Youย ย
- Proven success in aย customer facing, pre-sales role proposing software solutions at all levels of a customer organization.ย
- Proficient in having conversations with IT stakeholders and addressing common concerns around interoperability and differentiation from common enterprise systems.ย
- Ability to engage in strategic thinking toย facilitateย deal closure,ย leveragingย a blend of technicalย expertiseย and a sales-oriented mindset.ย
- Very comfortableย presenter of technical and business material to both small and large groups at varying levels
- Ability to rapidly comprehend, assimilate, and organize novel and intricate information (such as business and technical requisites), while also cultivating a deep comprehension of client industries and associated application scenarios.
- Energetic, optimistic, and team-oriented approach to work, coupled with a strong sense of accountability and a passion for wholeheartedly embracing responsibilities.
- Ability to travel with the needs of the role
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent experience
- Have completed or currently Pursuing Certifications such as is a nice to have. If not, we will support you in obtaining these with our tuition reimbursement program.

The Salary Range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, andย equitableย total rewards. The listed salary rangeย representsย aย good faithย estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
