Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal & Legal Operations Manager to support the Legal team across corporate, commercial, compliance, and operational matters. This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders to manage legal processes and operations, including contracts administration, NDA review and negotiation, corporate governance support, compliance coordination, and legal operations activities.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, detail-oriented, business-minded, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong legal and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Operations & Contracts Management

Conduct intake, review, negotiate, organize, and administer all NDAs and potentially other template-based agreements, with assistance from attorneys where needed.
Maintain contract lifecycle management (CLM) database and ensure proper documentation, tracking, and compliance processes.
Create and manage contract execution workflows and manage legal intake requests.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to support legal processes and business initiatives.
Leverage AI tools and technology to streamline contract review, improve document processing, and enhance legal operations efficiency and reporting.
  • Corporate & Compliance Support

Assist with corporate governance activities, including Board of Directors and Committee materials and legal entity management activities.
Support compliance initiatives, policy tracking, and audit-related requests
Help maintain organized, scalable, and audit-ready legal processes and records
  • Risk Management & Administration

Track legal obligations, renewals, and critical deadlines
Support dispute management, litigation coordination, legal holds, and document collection as needed
Assist with legal research and preparation of summaries, reports, and presentations
Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive information
  • Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve legal workflows, document management, and operational efficiency
Help implement scalable legal operations processes and best practices
Support reporting, metrics, and KPI tracking for legal operations activities
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of legal operations, paralegal, or corporate legal support experience
  • Experience supporting in-house legal teams in a start-up or similar fast-paced business environment (i.e., outside of a traditional law firm environment)
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business andoperational teams
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and legal documentation processes
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally with business and operational teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification preferred
