Job Description: SAP Commerce (Hybris) Technical Consultant / Lead
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite from Day 1
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce (Hybris) Technical Consultant/Lead with strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development, implementation, and integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering end-to-end B2B and B2C eCommerce solutions, integrating SAP Commerce with SAP ecosystems, Data Hub, and CPQ platforms.
This role requires hands-on technical leadership, deep knowledge of Hybris architecture, Java/J2EE technologies, Spring framework, web services, and enterprise integration patterns. The candidate must be willing to work onsite in Austin, TX from Day 1.
Required Experience
8+ years of overall SAP consulting and software development experience.
2-3 full lifecycle SAP Commerce (Hybris) implementation projects, preferably in B2B commerce environments.
Strong experience working in Onsite-Offshore delivery models.
Experience with SAP implementation projects and SDLC methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, and support SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications for B2B and B2C environments.
Lead technical implementation activities across the full software development lifecycle.
Customize SAP Commerce modules, including CMS, WCMS, Product Catalogs, Search, and Administration tools.
Develop scalable REST and SOAP web services and support enterprise integration requirements.
Implement and maintain integrations between SAP Commerce, SAP ERP, Data Hub, and SAP CPQ solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership for scalable eCommerce platforms.
Build and maintain Spring-based applications and services.
Develop and execute ImpEx scripts, CronJobs, and data migration activities.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
Support web analytics integrations and reporting requirements.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, QA, and offshore development teams.
Assist in performance tuning, scalability improvements, and production support activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Strong hands-on development experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris).
Experience implementing SAP Commerce with Data Hub and CPQ.
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies.
Expertise in Spring Framework components.
Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP services.
Strong understanding of eCommerce architecture and integration patterns.
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Commerce Cloud Certification.
SAP Certified Professional/Associate Certification.
Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
Experience with performance optimization and application scalability
