Job Title: Data Software Engineer
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid role. Must report to the office on Wednesdays.)
Duration: 12 Months
Position will involve design, implementation, testing and launch of new applications for loading dealer data and generating analytical insights. The position requires a strong foundation in Big Data with knowledge of Python and SQL query language. The primary focus involves the migration of data landing and transformation jobs from Hadoop to Airflow (Astronomer) and BigQuery. The software engineer will work closely with IT team members and Business Owners to understand various business processes and apply this knowledge to design and implement solutions.
· . 3+ years experience with ETL solutions .
· 3+ years experience of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) .
· 3+ years experience SQL/Oracle/Teradata . Ability to lead and mentor associate engineers .
· Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts
