Job description

Apogee Engineering is seeking an experienced Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) SME Instructor. The goal of this effort is to provide independent technical and project management Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to the USSF CFC ISR enterprise. This support will be provided in the form of instruction, development and maintenance of curriculum for domain-specific foundational intelligence training and tradecraft training to include, but not limited to, space targeting, space foreign instrumentation signals (FIS), cyber intelligence, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED), and all-source intelligence analysis. 
Location: Peterson Space Force Base, CO

****Contingent Upon Contract Award****


  • Lead course development, instruction, and curriculum updates for Space Force ISR training programs.

  • Serve as the schoolhouse FISINT SME, ensuring course content remains current, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.

  • Train students in FISINT fundamentals, collection methodologies, analytic techniques, and realworld tradecraft application.

  • Maintain instructional quality and support continuous improvement across the training pipeline.

  • Update written Assessments including written exams, performance exercises, and rubrics for all courses.
  • Conducts quality checks on lesson materials to verify accuracy and relevancy.
  • Submit revision type descriptions and estimated completion times to government leadership.

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: TS and SCI eligible
Education / Years of Experience: High School diploma with 7 - 10 years experience.
Additional Experience:

  • Subject Matter Expert in Space Intelligence. 
  • Unique expertise teaching the technical tasks of Foreign Instrumentation and Signals Intelligence. 
  • Prior training and credentials as an instructor.
  • Representative instructor credentials include prior Service Intelligence Training (i.e. 315 TRS, 316 TRS; 14N/1N0/1N1/1N2/1N4 pipeline graduate), USAFWS graduate/instructor, 14N/1Nx Instructors, National Cryptologic School Adjunct faculty, National Space Security Institute instructor, Sq/Gp/Wg DOT/DOV qualified instructor/evaluator

Preferred Qualifications:
Education / Years of Experience: BS 12-15 years experience, MS 10-13 years experience, PhD 10+ years experience.
