JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused IT leader to lead our Enterprise Desktop Engineering and Field Operations teams. This role is responsible for building, developing, and inspiring a high-performing team of engineers and field services professionals who deliver exceptional end-user technology experiences across the organization.
The successful candidate will be a servant leader who empowers teams, drives collaboration, develops talent, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. While maintaining accountability for enterprise endpoint strategy, operations, and technology standards, this leader's primary focus will be enabling team success, aligning work with business priorities, and ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable end-user computing services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of Desktop Engineering and Field Operations professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, performance feedback, career development, and succession planning for team members.
  • Establish clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations while empowering the team to deliver results.
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders, technology teams, and key stakeholders to ensure services align with organizational needs.
  • Lead the team's strategic planning efforts, including roadmap development, resource planning, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Guide enterprise endpoint and workplace technology strategies, including hardware lifecycle management, operating system standards, and modern device management.
  • Oversee the delivery of end-user computing services, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.
  • Champion employee engagement and professional growth while attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and strategic partnerships to maximize value and service performance.
  • Promote effective communication, knowledge sharing, documentation, and process standardization across the team.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and other technology teams to ensure compliance, reliability, and supportability of end-user platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing technical teams within a large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills.
  • Proven ability to lead through change, influence without authority, and drive organizational outcomes through others.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong strategic planning, prioritization, and execution capabilities.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for endpoint management technologies such as Microsoft Intune and MECM.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, cloud services, and enterprise workplace technology environments.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and external service providers.
  • Ability to balance people leadership, operational excellence, and technology strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to support critical business operations, including occasional after-hours leadership support when required.

COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
PAY RANGE:
$111,137.00 - $172,263.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
