The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on community builder who develops authentic relationships and turns member needs, immigration developments, and market insights into valuable programming and content. Experience in global mobility, immigration, or a related professional-services field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Community Strategy & Growth

  • Grow and retain membership by creating meaningful connections among human resources, talent acquisition, immigration, and global mobility professionals.
  • Serve as WR Immigration's primary community ambassador and relationship manager, building trusted relationships with members, prospective members, and industry leaders.
  • Develop an annual community roadmap, programming calendar, engagement goals, and success measures aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Lead and facilitate monthly virtual Collective roundtables and other high-value member discussions.

Content, Research & Thought Leadership

  • Develop and manage community content across LinkedIn, newsletters, email campaigns, and community platforms.
  • Create thought leadership, benchmarking reports, educational resources, executive communications, and discussion guides that are timely, practical, and relevant to members.
  • Design and manage benchmarking surveys; analyze results and translate immigration developments and market trends into actionable business insights.
  • Coordinate the Business Immigration Benchmark Podcast, including topic planning, guest outreach, preparation, scheduling, and promotion.
  • Partner with attorneys, marketing, and subject-matter experts to maintain content quality, accuracy, and a consistent WR voice.

Executive Events & Programming

  • Plan and execute approximately six in-person executive Collective roundtables annually, with winter and summer programming breaks.
  • Own event strategy and delivery, including agendas, speakers, invitations, venue and vendor coordination, attendee communications, facilitation, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop educational programming, webinars, and executive experiences that encourage peer learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Manage program and event budgets, timelines, vendors, and logistics while delivering a polished and consistent member experience.

Partnerships & Business Development

  • Build relationships with HR, immigration, and global mobility leaders, industry partners, speakers, and sponsors.
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing and business leaders to grow membership, increase event participation, identify partnership opportunities, and support business development.
  • Create thoughtful pathways for prospective members and community relationships to deepen engagement with WR Immigration without compromising the community's educational value.
  • Represent WR Immigration at relevant industry events, conferences, and community programs, as appropriate.

  • Deliver an outstanding member experience through onboarding, regular outreach, networking, responsive support, and relevant programming.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative community centered on trust, practical knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate member data, participation records, communications, and content within community and marketing systems.
  • Gather member feedback and market insights through interviews, surveys, and engagement data to continuously improve programming and inform strategy.
  • Track and report key performance indicators, including membership growth and retention, participation, content engagement, member satisfaction, and business-development influence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in community management, member engagement, human resources, talent acquisition, immigration, global mobility, marketing, business development, events, or a related field.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and executive presence, with the ability to engage senior HR, talent acquisition, immigration, and global mobility leaders.
  • Proven project and event management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing content and programming across digital channels, including LinkedIn, newsletters, email, webinars, podcasts, or community platforms.
  • Strong analytical skillset with ability to interpret survey findings, engagement data, and market feedback and convert them into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and comfort operating independently in a highly visible role.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with curiosity about AI and emerging productivity tools, and a willingness to continually adopt technologies that improve efficiency and the member experience.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining an active, professional presence on LinkedIn and creating compelling, audience-focused content that builds community, strengthens engagement, and supports thought leadership and brand visibility.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10%–20% of the time for in-person roundtables, conferences, community events, and other business needs.
