Job description

Discover your next great opportunity with Adecco! We are actively seeking motivated Extrusion Machine Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team in El Paso, TX. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Safely transfer coils from the production floor to the pelletizer area, ensuring continuous workflow 

  • Load and feed coils into the pelletizer system according to production schedules 

  • Adjust pelletizer pressure settings to maintain product quality and operational efficiency 

  • Change pelletizer screens regularly following established schedules and procedures 

  • Operate forklifts safely to transport coils and resin gaylords across the facility, adhering to all safety protocols 

  • Use scales to accurately weigh resin gaylords and coils for quality control purposes 

  • Utilize computer systems to review inventory, track locations, and manage part routing and orders 

  • Perform routine inspections and cleaning of pelletizer equipment to ensure optimal performance 

  • Conduct daily forklift safety checks and promptly report any operational concerns 

Available Shifts: 

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 
    Overtime may be required depending on business needs 

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred 

  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments 

  • Forklift operation experience and/or certification is a plus 

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions and complete basic documentation accurately 

  • Strong math skills for performing basic calculations 

  • Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, noises, and materials such as LPG, solvents, oils, and greases 

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands 

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly 

  • Capable of standing, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, and kneeling for extended periods

Pay Details: $13.25 per hour
