Job description

Join Adecco in a dynamic, corporate environment located within Dublin, CA. This is an exciting temporary opportunity to work directly with a Fortune 500 company at their Corporate Headquarters. If you have a solid background in retail inventory control and are looking to advance your career within a reputable organization, this position is ideally suited for you.

About the Role:

As a Retail Allocator you will be tasked with accurately performing the allocation of merchandise to client stores in a timely manner to support the Distribution Centers daily production goals. The Allocator will direct products to stores utilizing standard guidelines that support strategic Merchant objectives and impact store inventory plan achievement. They are also responsible for communicating callouts through collaboration with business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute allocations for seasonal initiatives, new store openings, and special business needs.

  • Follow allocation guidelines and tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Identify and resolve allocation issues, escalating concerns when needed.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to address allocation challenges and support business goals.

  • Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred

  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills

  • Retail math

Additional Details:

  • Work hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Hybrid work model

  • Parking: On-campus parking available.

  • Environment: Business casual dress code.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour

Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
