Job Summary
The Machine Operator will be responsible for assembling high-quality tire repair products (patches) using specialized fabrication equipment and manual assembly processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently while maintaining production and quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate fabrication equipment, including TECH 1000, TECH 1001, TECH 3000, SLAM, and RO175 machines
- Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems to operate and monitor equipment
- Keep machines supplied with materials such as rubber, fabric, and Mylar
- Read and follow production work orders and ISO documentation
- Accurately record labor and inventory transactions within the MES system
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Lift, mount, and set up material rolls on machine spindles
- Remove plastic film from rubber patches as needed
- Assemble components consisting of rubber, fabric, and plastic materials
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related work experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Ability to follow simple one- and two-step instructions

Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 pounds
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
- Occasionally climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to perform repetitive motions while maintaining quality standards
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with both heated and air-conditioned work areas
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, airborne particles, and varying production conditions
- Safety shoes and safety glasses are required at all times
- Employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean workspace

Pay Details: $19.30 to $21.05 per hour
