Manufacturing Quality Inspector – 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Position Title: Manufacturing Quality Inspector
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join our production team. This position is responsible for inspecting manufactured products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and company requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify and report defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with audits, quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.

Manufacturing Quality Inspector – 3rd Shift (9:30 PM – 6:00 AM)

Position Title: Manufacturing Quality Inspector
Shift: 3rd Shift, Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Quality Inspector to support overnight operations by ensuring products meet quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and identifying quality concerns before products reach customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products during overnight production.
  • Verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Record inspection findings and complete quality documentation accurately.
  • Investigate and communicate quality issues to supervisors and production personnel.
  • Perform routine audits and quality checks throughout the shift.
  • Support corrective and preventive action initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with basic computer applications and quality documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus during overnight hours.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Skills for Both Shifts:

  • Experience with ISO quality standards
  • Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay Details: $16.00 to $16.75 per hour
