Our Deployment Engineers work to seamlessly integrate our robots, sensors, and software into a cutting-edge autonomous welding system. They're the link between engineering and operations manufacturing groups as we prepare our robotic weld cells for deployment. You will report to our Senior Manager of Deployment Engineering and will join a team of dedicated, supportive, and enthusiastic people to help create the future of manufacturing.
What You'll Do
  • Configure and calibrate cell components to confirm our robotic welding cells are fully operational at Path's manufacturing facility and the customer site
  • Identify software issues and implement fixes
  • Document system errors and submit Jira tickets for issues that require engineering team support
  • Work with the engineering team to continually improve speed and stability of the software releases
  • Update documentation of cell operation and bring-up task processes as needed
  • Train Operating Technicians on new operation processes as needed
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience in C++, Python, Bash, ROS, and Git version control
  • Familiarity and experience with implementing and troubleshooting robotics and control systems
  • Experience with the Linux environment and the command line interface
  • A track record of strong documentation skills and a passion to leave things better than you found them
  • Able to travel up to 30-50% during peak installation periods at customer sites throughout North America (ability to acquire a passport is required)
