With 100 years of operation under our belt and ahealthy tenure, come find out what makes The Toro Company the best place in the Twin Cities to build a career.

About the Role

At The Toro Company (TTC), we believe talent exists at every level, and how we invest in people early, and throughout their careers, shapes the organization we become. The Talent Experience Specialist is a core member of the Talent Management and Optimization (TMO) team, leading two of our most visible programs - the enterprise internship program and the mentorship program - and serving as an engine for the tools, guides, and resources that bring TMO's talent strategies to life across the enterprise. All have a strong foundation. Your job is to take them to the next level - elevating the experience, deepening the connection to TTC's talent pipeline, and ensuring that growth happens in more ways than one.

This role is a strategic contributor to TMO - your perspective on what you see, what is working, and what needs to evolve directly shapes how we think and what we build next. It is for someone energized by building programs with purpose, passionate about the craft of creating things people use and genuinely motivated by the belief that the early and ongoing experience someone has at TTC matters.

What Will You Do?
  • Own the full intern experience from day one - designing and managing a high-quality, consistent program that reflects TTC's talent brand, supports criteria-based placements tied to pipeline needs, equips managers to be effective hosts, and creates a clear path for strong interns pursuing full-time roles at TTC

  • Extend and operate TTC's enterprise mentorship program - leveraging the current experience and expanding it so that employees at every career stage have access to the right mentors and the right level of guidance, reinforcing that growth happens multiple ways

  • Partner with our Learning, Development and Engagement team to shape the early experience for all new employees - ensuring that from day one, people feel the intentionality of how The Toro Company invests in its people

  • Be an active voice to TMO team strategy - contributing perspective from early career and broader talent lens, staying connected to the full scope of what TMO owns, and helping to ensure the work is always tied to the bigger picture

  • Serve as TMO's primary builder of operational enablement resources - creating and continuously improving the guides, resources, toolkits, and templates that help managers, employees, and HR business partners execute talent processes with confidence across a complex, global organization

  • Own program analytics for the internship and mentorship programs, tracking outcomes and surfacing insights that connect program health to TTC's broader talent pipeline

What Do You Need?

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field

  • 1-2 years (Specialist I) or 3-4+ years (Specialist II) of direct or indirect experience in talent management, HR program management, early talent programs, or a closely related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating talent programs or HR initiatives end-to-end

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience running internships, mentorship, rotational, onboarding, or early career programs in a corporate environment

  • Familiarity with talent pipeline, succession, or talent review concepts and how early talent programs connect to them

  • Background in a global organization across multiple business units or geographies

  • Proficiency with Workday; comfort with AI-enabled productivity tools

  • Certification in talent management, HR, or program management (e.g., ATD, SHRM, AIHR, PMP)

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Are...

  • A strong program manager - someone who runs multiple concurrent programs with precision, follow-through, and a genuinely high bar for participant experience

  • A skilled builder - energized by creating practical tools, guides, and resources from scratch and motivated by seeing others actually use what you make

  • An eye for design and clarity - able to create well-organized, visually clean, and user-friendly resources across a variety of formats that make complex talent processes feel approachable and easy to use.

  • A relationship builder - able to earn trust and bring people along across a wide range of audiences, from senior leaders and hiring managers to early career employees just finding their footing

  • Data-curious - comfortable tracking program data, maintaining records in Workday, and telling a clear story through visualization

  • A team-first collaborator - genuinely curious about the full scope of TMO's work, not just your own lane, and eager to contribute ideas and energy to shared strategy

  • Energized by growth opportunity - comfortable operating in a maturing, evolving talent function and motivated by the chance to help build something that matters

  • Familiar with or curious about AI-enabled tools - actively interested in how technology is changing the way talent programs are built, run, and measured
