What You'll Do
Teradata is launching a New Logo Active Compute Team to introduce a new, outcome-driven sales motion to enable scaling consumption across the organization. As a Sales Account Executive focused on Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Public Sector
organizations, you will play a critical role in acquiring new customers and proving the commercial viability of
this offering. This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role tailored for sellers who are comfortable managing the
entire customer journey, from prospecting to close and early workload activation.
What Impact This Role Has
You'll directly influence how Teradata acquires new customers within Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Public
Sector markets for a consumption-based compute offering. You'll help shape a repeatable go-to-market motion
focused on customer activation, consumed revenue, retention, and long-term business outcomes in some of
the world's most data-intensive and highly regulated organizations.
What Success Might Look Like
Success will be measured by:
• New logo acquisition within Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Public Sector target accounts
• Workload activation and adoption of Teradata's platform
• Growth in consumed revenue
• Early customer retention and expansion
• Consistent pipeline generation and deal quality
• Contributions to building a scalable, industry-focused GTM playbook
Who You'll Work With
You'll partner with a dedicated New Logo sales team, Solution Architects, AI Specialists, Sales Leadership,
Marketing, Revenue Operations, and industry-focused subject matter experts to help customers solve complex
data, analytics, and AI challenges.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
We're looking for candidates with:
• Proven success as an Account Executive selling enterprise software, cloud, analytics, AI, or data platform
solutions
• A demonstrated track record of acquiring new logo customers and generating net-new business
• Experience selling into Healthcare, Life Sciences, Public Sector, or other highly regulated industries
• Experience navigating complex buying committees and engaging executive, business, and technical stakeholders
Confidential internal draft
• Success managing long, consultative sales cycles from prospecting through close
• Experience leading proof-of-concepts, pilots, or workload adoption initiatives
• Familiarity with healthcare ecosystems, life sciences organizations, government agencies, or related
procurement environments is highly desirable
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience helping build new markets, new territories, or emerging GTM motions
