Job description

Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead the Agile Release Train execution for the Honeywell Helix SAP S/4HANA transformation. The role involves coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains, managing dependencies, and ensuring disciplined planning and delivery governance.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Agile Release Train execution for the Honeywell Helix SAP S/4HANA transformation, ensuring disciplined PI planning, sprint execution, ART Sync, dependency tracking, and delivery governance.
• Coordinate cross-ART dependencies across LTC, ISC/ITO, RTR, process, data, integration, security, testing, OCM, and rollout workstreams.
• Orchestrate Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, Value Stream Leaders, Solution/System Architects, business SMEs, and SI delivery teams to maintain delivery cadence and transparency.
• Drive PI readiness, feature prioritization, dependency resolution, risk/issue escalation, and executive reporting using Jira, RAIL, dashboards, and governance forums.
• Protect fit-to-standard and zero-customization governance discipline while ensuring solution decisions remain with the appropriate Solution Architect/System Architect and business design authorities.
• Align Agile S/4 Build delivery with Waterfall Hybrid rollout milestones, including testing cycles, data loads, deployment readiness, cutover, and go-live coordination.
• Manage distributed onshore/offshore teams with strong overlap to US business hours and clear communication across global stakeholders.
• Use AI-enabled tooling and dashboards to improve delivery visibility, dependency management, action tracking, reporting quality, and leadership decision support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Senior SAFe-certified SAP S/4HANA transformation delivery leader with proven experience as an Agile Release Train Engineer or large-scale ART execution lead.
• Direct experience running PI Planning, ART Sync, Scrum Master orchestration, dependency management, risk escalation, and executive-level delivery governance.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, with the ability to manage SAP dependencies intelligently without acting as the functional solution owner.
• Experience coordinating multiple ARTs across process, data, integration, security, testing, OCM, and business-led design governance.
• Ability to operate within quarterly PI cadence and 3-week sprint execution models, ensuring feature flow, dependency visibility, and predictable delivery outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira-based scaled agile management, RAIL governance, Smartsheet, MS Teams, SharePoint, testing dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating Agile S/4 Build with Waterfall Hybrid rollout milestones, data loads, testing, cutover, and go-live readiness.

• Coordinate cross-ART dependencies across LTC, ISC/ITO, RTR, process, data, integration, security, testing, OCM, and rollout workstreams.
• Orchestrate Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, Value Stream Leaders, Solution/System Architects, business SMEs, and SI delivery teams to maintain delivery cadence and transparency.
• Drive PI readiness, feature prioritization, dependency resolution, risk/issue escalation, and executive reporting using Jira, RAIL, dashboards, and governance forums.
• Protect fit-to-standard and zero-customization governance discipline while ensuring solution decisions remain with the appropriate Solution Architect/System Architect and business design authorities.
• Align Agile S/4 Build delivery with Waterfall Hybrid rollout milestones, including testing cycles, data loads, deployment readiness, cutover, and go-live coordination.
• Manage distributed onshore/offshore teams with strong overlap to US business hours and clear communication across global stakeholders.
• Use AI-enabled tooling and dashboards to improve delivery visibility, dependency management, action tracking, reporting quality, and leadership decision support.
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation skills for PI Planning, ART Sync, risk review, dependency management, and cross-functional governance forums.
• Proven ability to lead distributed, multi-vendor, onshore/offshore teams in complex global SAP S/4HANA transformation environments.
• Structured, proactive, and outcome-focused approach to issue resolution, escalation management, and delivery predictability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business value streams, Product Management, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, coaches, SI partners, and PMO teams.
• Strong governance mindset with the ability to enforce cadence and transparency without becoming the SAP functional decision-maker.
