Job description
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Step-Down / Telemetry
Weekly Pay (36 Hours)
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,506
- Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,260
- Weekly Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric Step-Down/Telemetry patients
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Step-Down and/or Telemetry nursing experience required
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Experience with Paragon and Pyxis systems preferred
- Strong cardiac assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills

401(k) Plan: The Synectics Inc. Investment Savings Retirement Plan. Synectics offers all employees who are 21 years of age or older the opportunity to invest in the 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following at least 1 calendar year after employment begins.
