We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to create high-performance coils and heat exchangers.

Due to a booming 60,000 sq foot facility expansion, Super Radiator Coils, a family-owned manufacturer in the Midlothian, VA area, is seeking a hard-working and mechanically minded people to join our production team. Equipment operator's set-up and run our metal forming equipment. These machines use high precision custom tooling for heat exchanger manufacturing. We operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent change overs.

Requirements
  • Welding and Fabrication:
  • Perform various welding techniques including TIG welding to assemble and fabricate metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding methods based on project requirements.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and correct any welding defects or imperfections.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing welding tasks.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively regarding project status, issues, and improvements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in welding or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
