Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for an experienced Sr. Production Quality Engineer to serve as the Componenttechnology enabler for Company. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams toensure the robustness of the Component solutions in Supermicro's system. You will partner closely with theComponent vendors and collaboratively drive the component technology enabling process.

This role will be in the headquarters located in San Jose, CA.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

Monitor, review and control of key components (Memory, Storage, CPU, GPU) quality/reliability atcustomer side

Manage our quality control procedure to improve company’s product quality

Support and coordinate with LAB and other engineering teams to improve our screen-ability of keycomponents errors

Take ownership provide feedback and take initiative to drive to improve supplier quality management

Recommends changes or other action as appropriate for key components quality control

Work with cross-functional teams and take initiative to set quality standards for new product or customer

Take action to investigate key components related quality concerns addressed by customers, work, andprovide constructive suggestions to customer direct supporting team

In-depth knowledge on maintaining the quality of the product from the sourcing to shipment process


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experiences

8+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams in corporate environment, with solid productpromotion experiences in hardware components preferred

Prior technical marketing experiences in ODM/OEM projects preferred

Ability to engage with both vendor and clients, creating business opportunity through ecosystempartnership is a plus

Strong analytical, marketing and project management skills - a drive for results and a history ofsuccessful execution on projects is a plus

Strong communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills

Technical hands-on experiences on key components (Memory, Storage, CPU, GPU) qualification orapplication engineering experience

Understanding in the key features of server and key components, with in-depth knowledge about itsmarket

Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity

Team player that works well in collaborative situations

Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to bepresent in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration andparticipation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role.

Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in thedesignated office location.


Salary Range

$100,000 - $138,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specificskills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to acomprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such asparticipation in bonus and equity award programs.
