Location
This position will be primarily based out of or near our Mesa I facility at 4712 South Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ 85212. Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.
Shift Schedule (Current as of posting, but is subject to change pending business needs)
First Shift Monday-Friday 06:00AM - 02:30PM; 8.00 hour shifts; with potential for additional hours pending business needs.
Position Description
Custodial personnel are an important part of the team's success, primarily responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness and sanitation. This includes routinely cleaning, sanitizing, and resupplying each facility's needs. Custodial team members must have a strong discipline in time management skills to ensure they meet their individual and team responsibilities. Custodial team members are highly visible throughout our facilities and can be an easy point of contact for team members to address potential cleanliness, plumbing, or supply concerns. Though solutions might not be provided by this person, it is expected they bring awareness to custodial leadership. Many interactions can occur daily in this role, it is important to represent a strong positive reflection of our company's core values. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager for our Arizona division.
Essential Responsibilities
• Ability to fully read and understand each cleaning chemical and their proper use.
o We do our best to translate, but essential for when assistance is not available.
• Clean and sanitize common areas such as Break Rooms, Locker Areas, Restrooms, etc.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash into trash receptacles.
• Collect and properly dispose of recyclable items into recycle receptacles.
• Routinely sweep, vacuum, and/or mop all non-production-based floors.
• Routinely utilize floor scrubbing machines and/or mop floors.
• Conduct periodic restroom sanitation checks throughout shift to ensure any plumbing concerns or ill-care of facilities are addressed promptly.
o Log and/or address findings to appropriate leadership.
• Monitor daily stock levels of custodial supplies on hand and notify the appropriate individuals if additional supplies are needed prior to them running low or out.
• Assist in spill and clean up events.
• Confidentiality; There may be occasions when information may be present in an office while completing tasks. Information is not to be captured, disclosed, or transferred for any reason, adhering to all SRC policies.
• Gap-filling is common across our team, must be able to lend assistance to the best of ability when these moments occur, if needed.
• Always strive to represent our culture in a positive manner and avoid fueling any team member's negativity by working as a team to find potential solutions to issues or concerns.

Requirements
Qualifications
THIS IS AN INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT WHICH REQUIRES PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES.
Required
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
• 1+ years prior experience in custodial/sanitation role for mid-large sized companies.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time throughout shift.
• Lift up to 50lbs often.
• Comfortable in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Stable and reliable attendance
o A pattern of Late Ins, Early Outs, Unexcused Call Outs, etc. is not acceptable.
• English Comprehension
o English and Spanish are the Arizona team's top two primary languages. Though we do our best to translate and train team members, for safety reasons around chemicals and their proper applications. It is very important that individuals have a strong understanding of English comprehension to avoid misinterpreting hazard warnings, emergency instructions, dilution ratios, etc.
• Must be able to pass pre-screen process with drug, physical, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred
• Experience working in manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a mid-large sized company where gap-filling is routine.
• Strong positive work ethic
o Have a good history of safe work practices, focus on quality, and steady efficiency.
o Personal errors in your specific department can happen, what is important is if you were able to learn from an error and move forward in a positive manner.
