Job description

Title: Mechanical Assembler – 2nd Shift

Location:  West Palm Beach, FL 33407
Pay:  $20.00/hr + 10% Shift Differential
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Hire Type: Long-Term Contract

Sterling Engineering is hiring Assemblers for a well-established manufacturing company in West Palm Beach. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, building high-quality products, and being part of a team in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.


What You'll Do:

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools
  • Follow blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and resistance meters
  • Package finished products for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Work with your team to meet daily production goals


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience 
  • Electrical or mechanical trade school experience is a plus
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude


Physical Requirements:

  • Stand for most of the shift
  • Lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
  • Perform repetitive hand movements throughout the day
  • Bend, reach, push, pull, and handle materials safely
