FS8 is a modern workout blending Pilates, yoga, and strength training in a supportive, high-energy environment. We are passionate about helping members feel strong, confident, and connected through movement and community!
As the Studio Manager, you will be the face of FS8 Severna Park — responsible for leading day-to-day operations, coaching classes, growing a strong member base, and building an inclusive, high-energy studio culture.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver FS8 sessions: coach high-energy, technically sound classes across Pilates, tone and yoga formats (Approximately 10-15 classes per week)
  • Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, studio flow, staff coverage, quality of instruction and studio cleanliness standards to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Sales & Membership Growth: Drive local marketing, lead generation, studio tours, and membership conversions
  • Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and develop trainers and membership specialists to deliver exceptional service and maintain studio standards
  • Community & Retention: Foster a welcoming, inclusive studio culture that promotes connection, consistency, and long-term member retention
  • Data & KPIs: Track performance metrics (sales, attendance, retention) and implement strategies to meet and exceed studio growth targets. Familiar with software systems like MindBody and CRM tools 
  • Studio Standards: Maintain equipment (including reformers), uphold safety protocols, and ensure that studio cleanliness is always top-notch
  • Social Media Marketing: Create and manage engaging social media content to promote the studio, drive awareness, and support member acquisition and retention
Qualifications:
  • Certification in Pilates, yoga, personal training or group fitness (required)
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a fitness boutique, wellness or similar studio environment
  • Confidence coaching with a mic and managing a class of varying skill levels
  • Proactive and customer-focused mindset with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with fitness software like MindBody or similar platforms
