Collective investment trusts are pooled investment vehicles, comparable to mutual funds, that are designed exclusively for use by retirement plan investors. SEI's CIT Team is responsible for establishing and maintaining collective investment trusts under the rules of its direct regulator and standards of the Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service and other regulatory bodies. This team works closely with internal divisions including the ITA, IFS, Compliance, Legal, etc. The CIT Team currently supports over 700 collective funds with approximately $270 Billion in AUM working with over 200 investment sub-advisors.

This will include direct engagement in product development discussions involving SEI, investment manager clients, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate solutions for this segment of the CIT and retirement market, as alternative managers seek to find innovative opportunities to offer alternative asset classes in the 401(k) space.
What you will do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert within SEI for various investment manager clients, through the new business implementation and on-going service relationship
  • Assist clients with executing any Collective Investment Trust ("CIT" or "Trust") related projects or initiatives, with an emphasis on alternative assets
  • Establish project plans and lead conference calls with various parties to coordinate the legal establishment, operational setup and launch of a CIT

  • Gather data and prepare and present new client product developments to Trust New Business Committee for Trust Company approval
  • Manage or assist management with other CIT related projects
  • Collaborate with team members to support the needs of our clients as they arise.
  • We want you to succeed and look for future solutions! Through attending and participating in various IMS and corporate professional development sessions, you will acquire the tools to identify processes across the division and organization. You will have the opportunity to partner with a diverse team and grow your career.
What we need from you:

  • Self-starter with outstanding decision making skills
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Detailed oriented and the ability to work independently or with team members to meet deadlines

What we would like from you:
  • A drive to broaden one's knowledge of the financial services industry by learning new concepts and systems and taking the initiative to apply it to daily work assignments.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. As the needs of our clients change, we need to be flexible to change with them.
