MNL is a full-service ecological restoration company dedicated to Healing the Earth. Our services include native seed and plant production, shoreline and wetland restoration, prescribed burns, conservation grazing, vegetation management, and ecological consulting. We also support solar and infrastructure projects with pollinator-friendly practices and land stewardship expertise.
Our Products division produces & supplies native seeds, plants, and related materials to contractors, municipalities, restoration professionals, and wholesale partners. The team works closely with customers to support project success-from planning through fulfillment-while coordinating internally with production and operations teams.
The Opportunity
The Sales Account Manager owns ongoing relationships with active and past customers. This role is responsible for keeping accounts engaged, making it easy to do business with MNL, and staying connected to customer needs over time.
You'll work closely with the Products Sales Team, Production, and Fulfillment to keep orders accurate and on track. Success in this role comes from staying organized, communicating clearly, and being connected to customer needs to identify opportunities to support upcoming projects, expand product use, and re-engage past customers.
What You Will Do
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts as the primary point of contact.
  • Coordinate and process orders with accuracy, timeliness, & clear communication.
  • Respond to product inquiries and support customer planning needs.
  • Maintain consistent communication to stay aligned with customer projects and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to support upcoming projects or expand product use within existing accounts.
  • Recommend additional or complementary products based on project needs.
  • Re-engage inactive or past customers to drive repeat business.
  • Track customer activity and purchasing patterns to anticipate future needs.
  • Coordinate with Production and Fulfillment on product availability and timelines.
  • Communicate order status, lead times, and delivery expectations clearly.
  • Partner with the Sales Team on larger or strategic account opportunities.
  • Work with other Sales Team members on custom seed mix requests for customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and account activity within CRM systems.
  • Identify opportunities for other MNL services and connect with internal teams.

What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong relationship management skills with a focus on long-term customer value.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without losing detail.
  • Comfort balancing customer support with proactive sales and growth.
  • Clear, direct communication and strong follow-through.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, especially around orders and timelines.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Prior background in native plants, restoration, agriculture, or landscaping strongly preferred.
  • The ability to work 100% onsite at our Foley, MN location.

The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 67,000 USD per year (G1)
