As a Master Data Administrator (MDA), you manage the daily needs to generate and maintain customer, vendor, and material master records for our ERP system. In this role, MDA team member works with our sales and purchasing departments to efficiently provide system updates to ensure timely order and inventory processing. Project work may entail updating multiple records in response to changing market needs. Members within the MDA team are often called upon to help resolve system and MRP (materials requirement planning) set-up issues. This is a hybrid position that requires working in the office three days per week.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Creation and maintenance of material part numbers
  • Creation and maintenance of vendor and customer records
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and maintenance of MRP inputs at the item level
  • Support of the sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure proper system functioning of parts within ERP environment
  • Accountability for project work is generated both within and outside the procurement department
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or operations related fields
  • 3 plus years of related experience in data entry, understanding of MRP or inventory control systems; and experience in the metal industry is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SAP software is a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $61,306 - $76,633 annually plus bonus. A starting salary higher than $61,306 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
