Join Our Team at Pyramid Healthcare

Pyramid Healthcare is excited to expand our services with a new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to help create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals working toward recovery from substance use disorders.

Position Overview

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide direct care and support to clients throughout their treatment journey. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, you will help ensure client safety, encourage engagement in programming, and contribute to a positive therapeutic environment.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with client admissions and intake processes.
  • Supervise and engage with clients to promote safety, accountability, and participation in treatment.
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medications as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and client records.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily client activities and programming.
  • Transport clients safely to appointments and other approved destinations as needed.
  • Support treatment goals and individualized client needs.
  • Respond effectively to behavioral or emotional crises, utilizing crisis intervention techniques when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including light housekeeping duties.
  • Assist with meal service and support client dietary needs.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Complete required trainings and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation & Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Experience
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during crisis situations.
  • Basic understanding of safety, compliance, and documentation practices.
  • Passion for helping others and supporting recovery-focused care.
