Location Description

Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start. 


Responsibilities

We’re looking for dependable, safetydriven team members to join our Production Support Team at the Northfield facility. This role supports material handling, line supply, receiving, and waste management while maintaining strong food safety, quality, and environmental standards. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Operate forklifts and materialhandling equipment safely and efficiently 
  • Receive, stage, and supply packaging materials, ingredients, and supplies 
  • Perform quality checks, audits, and documentation on materials and products 
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and daily adjustments 
  • Support waste handling, recycling, and sanitation activities 
  • Keep work areas clean and compliant with food safety and SQF standards 
  • Perform basic equipment inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance 
  • Record production and efficiency data as required 
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership 
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives 
  • Fill in for team members and assist with special projects as needed 

Qualifications

What You Bring 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, mechanical, or food industry experience preferred 
  • Forklift and materialhandling experience 
  • Basic computer and math skills 
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask 

Physical & Work Environment 

  • Ability to stand and perform physical work for a full shift 
  • Operate equipment and use hand tools safely 
  • Must pass background check, physical work screen, and drug test 

Schedule 

  • Night Shift - 12-hour shifts starting at 5:00 PM 
  • Follows a 2-2-3 schedule:  
  • Week 1: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on 
  • Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off 
  • Every other weekend off 
  • Includes built-in overtime pay
