Smith Elementary School invites interested candidates to apply for the Paraeducator - Pathways position.
PLEASE NOTE: For the 2026 2027 school year, the Smith Pathways Program will be temporarily located at Holmes Elementary School. Although this position is assigned to the Smith Pathways Program, the work location for the 2026 2027 school year will be Holmes Elementary School.
About the Pathways Program:
The Pathways Program provides self-contained classrooms for students with pervasive, global delays, including significant cognitive and academic deficits, communication impairments, limited adaptive skills, and mild to moderate motor deficits that may require partial to full adult support for participation in school and daily living activities.
Anticipated Start Date: August 25, 2026

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
  • A minimum of 60 college credits, or
  • A passing score on the ParaPro Assessment

Salary
  • Starting Salary: $21.07 per hour
