Job description

As a Senior Specialist, People Communications and Change Management reporting to the Communications Leader for People@Nasdaq, you'll play a critical role in telling a compelling, cohesive, and aligned narrative about the various programs, policies, and benefits we offer. You'll also partner closely with Nasdaq's People Experience team to communicate about our People Promise-the expression of what it's like to work at Nasdaq-to candidates and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for leading change and communication strategy, consultation, and delivery for high-profile, mission-critical projects at the enterprise, division or expert team, and local level. These projects are crucial to Nasdaq's continued success and the further development of our business growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic communications consultancy tostakeholdersand own the end-to-end executionof communicationskey projects across the People@Nasdaqportfolio and beyond,includingsignificantchange managementiniatitives,new programlaunches, workforce and location strategy initiatives,regional and local statutory requirements,and more. This includes communicationandchange management planning, drafting and delivery,channel optimization,and/or coordinating with other Nasdaq or third-party partners, as necessary.

  • Partner closely with the People@Nasdaq Communications Leader to bringto life the People Team mission, vision, and thematic narrativeto increase employee understanding of, and appreciation for, Nasdaq's compelling total offer of benefits and other programs and rewardsin a consistent wayacross all channels.

  • Apply end-to-end thinking and an "outcomes-over-output mindset" to help design, document, influence, and communicate about all facets of signature People@Nasdaq workflows/experiences, such as onboarding or promotions, collaborating closely with the product/program owner - and across all areas of People Team - to ensure a holistic, thoughtful, and best-in-class user experience for key moments in the employee lifecycle.

  • Employa continuous improvement mindset to suggest, test, and implement"whitespace" ideas to elevate thePeople@Nasdaqcommunicationschannelswith an eye towards innovation and improvingstakeholder engagement with, and understanding of,key concepts and relevant topics.

  • Coordinateclosely with theM&ALead and PMO Lead for People@Nasdaqfor allmergers, acquisitions, divestitures, andotherM&A activities, including the creation and curation of defined M&Aplaybookstofacilitateemployee understandingand reduce disruption and riskduring times of transition, ultimately enabling the desired business outcomes associated with the deal.

  • Work closely with thePeople@NasdaqCommunications Leader to develop the agenda,promote,andfacilitatelarge-scalePeople@NasdaqCommunications events includinga global Manager Forum,'Ask Me Anything' all-hands, and internal People Teamall-hands town halls.

  • Leverage AI-assisted toolsto create better deliverables andenable greater efficiencywhileenhancingwith quality,consistency, and creativity of people team communication campaigns.

  • Serve as the AI subject expert for People@Nasdaq communications team, which includes scouting new available AI technologies, developing application use cases and strategies, and optimizing the suite of AI tools in use to produce better outcomes based on company- and topic-specificpreferences and parameters.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, human resources, marketing, or a related field.

  • 7-10+years of experiencein acorporatecommunications-related role,preferably with an HRfocus.

  • Proventrack recordofdeliveringhigh-quality, impactfulemployee engagement and change managementcampaigns across the HR space.

  • Demonstratedability toinfluence stakeholders, develop scalable solutions, lead cross-functional initiatives.

  • Clear communicator with experience in collaborative, matrixed environmentswho can translate complex information and ideas for a diverse global audience.

  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience liaising with and influencing senior leadership.

  • Working knowledge ofagilemethodologiesandapplying AI-poweredtoolsto communications workflowsand outputs.

  • Growth mindset,constant curiosity to learn,and relentlesspassion for elevating the HR communicationfunction, outcomes for stakeholders, and overall engagement of the company's global workforce.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change managementcertification (e.g., PROSCI or similar)and/or experience desired.

  • Exposure to global teams and cultural nuances in cross-border collaboration.

This position will bebased in New York, NY, USAand offers the opportunity for a hybrid workarrangementat leastthreedays a week in-office, subject to change, providingflexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $101,000 - $177,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
