Job description

The Role

We'relooking for aSenior QA Test Analystwith strong technical and programmingexpertiseto join our team. This role is ideal for someone who approaches quality through code, automation, and rigorous system-level validation rather than manual testing alone.

You'llhelp shape how we deliver high-quality software solutions by building andmaintainingautomated tests, performing non-functional testing, and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You'llfit right in ifyou'recomfortable writing Java code, enjoy partnering closely with developers and product teams, and are motivated by solving complex quality challenges thatimpactsystems used globally.

What You'll Do

  • Create, execute, andmaintainautomated test cases written in Java tovalidateapplication behavior across front-end, back-end, and service layers.
  • Design comprehensive test scenarios andsupporttest data to thoroughlyvalidatebusiness logic, integrations, and overall system flow.
  • Perform non-functional testing, including performance, reliability, and scalability testing, to ensure systems meet technical and operational standards.
  • Work closely with development and project management teams toidentify, document, and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
  • Develop, extend, and support test automation frameworks and testing tools used across the engineering organization.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong emphasis on technical testing and automation.
  • Strong Java programming skills, with hands-on experience writing,maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test suites.
  • Demonstrated experience with non-functional testing and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills, with experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to capital markets, financial services, or fintech platforms.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and structured quality methodologies.

This position willbe located inToronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $75,000 - $103,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
