Job description

Immediate Need for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Bilingual Spanish

Join a Collaborative Primary Care Team Mitchell Martin Healthcare is partnering with a respected ambulatory healthcare organization in Manhattan seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Nurse Practitioner (NP/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing Primary Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. You'll work alongside physicians, specialists, nurses, health coaches, and support staff to improve patient outcomes while building long-term relationships with a diverse patient population.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Perform physical examinations and order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health programs.
  • Support team-based care within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Qualifications Required

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Active New York State NP or PA license.
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, ANP, ENP) or Physician Assistant.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (conversational and/or medical fluency required).
  • Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Rotating schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • One remote administrative day each week
  • No weekends
  • Excellent work-life balance
