Job description

Manpower in Huntington WV is seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Operator for a client in the tristate area. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality products, and are committed to working safely, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor rubber processing and machine shop equipment.
  • Set up and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with other production and manufacturing duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred but not required-we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to safely operate machinery and use measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
