The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking a full time Systems Engineer. In this role, you will define mission critical requirements, develop windows and user interfaces for military personnel user experience, and integrate new capabilities into the premier self-defense system for the United States and allied Navies, the Aegis Combat System. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Java, C++, or Python and Linux/UNIX operating systems, experience in requirement development, experience user interface development, and experience in issue investigation.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or closely related field
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience
• Experience in performing analysis and code inspections in Java, C++, or Python to troubleshoot software issues
• Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems
• Experience in requirements development
• Experience with Model Based Engineering tools and methodologies like SysML, Rhapsody, or Cameo for software development
• Experience with issue investigation and defect correction
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
Desired skills
• Experience Agile product development methodology
• Experience with Test Automation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
that cause successful work in a collaborative and team based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 - $135,961.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
