THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 3 Sr. Hardware Engineer with a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance to work from an OCONUS location.
This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
This is part of an expat multi contractor team,
24x7 HWE&M Engineering Shift team position supporting the operations and maintenance of a large scale RF Communication site across multiple systems.
Will be part of a multi-contractor team of hardware and system engineers located at a OCONUS site.
Position requires a 2 yr commitment on site beginning upon initial relocation.
Activities & Responsibilities include:
Position is 24x7 shift work schedule
Discrepancy report generation.
Work off and resolution.
Operations & Maintenance training/mentoring
trending, procedure development.
Data collection.
Fault isolation.
Performing real-time manual actions to restore system capabilities.
Participation in corrective maintenance will require remove/replace, repair, and testing failed hardware.
You will also:
Work closely with other on site hardware engineers to provide support for discrepancy work off related activities.
Installation efforts, and special test configurations.
Assist contractor and customer meetings by attending, participating, and/or leading.
Performance of maintenance activities will include climbing multiple sets of stairs, lifting/carrying up to 50lbs, and working in non-environment-controlled workspaces.
Selectee will possibly perform pre-deployment training and preparation at several Washington, DC area LM programs.
