What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive care to adults with acute and chronic conditions all while promoting wellness, preventive health, and patient education.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Perform in-office procedures, prescribe medications, and interpret/manage diagnostic results.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and team-based improvement efforts.
  • Respond to urgent situations and support patient safety.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and all InterMed policies.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with InterMed’s mission, vision, and values.

What You Bring

  • 3+ Years of experience post-graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN – Master of Science in Nursing, or DNP – Doctor of Nursing Practice) or Physician Assistant program (MPAS – Master of Physician Assistant Studies, MSPA – Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, MHS – Master of Health Science) 
  • Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
  • Board Certification
  • Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine
  • Active BLS certification
  • Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure

Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
