The Floor Host will provide exceptional front-of-house hospitality and client support while maintaining a welcoming, professional, and fully operational workplace environment. This position will serve as a key point of contact for clients and visitors, assisting with meeting room needs, navigating the office, and ensuring the floors are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
Job Functions
  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and employees in a warm, professional, and polished manner.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact on the assigned floor and assist with general questions, requests, and workplace needs.
  • Conduct regular floor tours to ensure the entire space is clean, organized, properly stocked, and meeting client expectations.
  • Monitor conference and meeting rooms throughout the day and ensure they are properly set up and ready for use.
  • Assist clients with meeting room requests, supplies, refreshments, technology, and other workplace needs.
  • Monitor meeting room schedules and assist with room changes, cancellations, and other last-minute requests.
  • Identify and address any issues with conference rooms, common areas, supplies, temperature, lighting, or overall appearance.
  • Coordinate with Meeting Support, Facilities, Mailroom, Hospitality, and other workplace teams to ensure timely resolution of client requests.
  • Maintain an elevated level of hospitality and customer service when interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively provide assistance before issues arise.
  • Assist with special events, catering, and other workplace functions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client requests, interactions, and services provided.
  • Use available tools and resources to identify creative solutions and provide first-point-of-contact resolution whenever possible.
  • Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining communication with clients throughout the resolution process.
  • Assist with maintaining supplies and ensuring common areas and meeting spaces remain fully stocked and presentable.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements/Experience/Education:
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a service industry such as Hotel and Restaurant, Hospitality, Corporate Hospitality, or Event Planning preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must maintain an elevated level of professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to navigate and communicate effectively with clients and professionals at every level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Must be comfortable using technology and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when handling multiple requests.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond to changing priorities.

The Compensation range for this role is up to $22.07 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
