Marketing Project Manager
The Marketing Project Manager creates and manages the schedules and traffics creative marketing and advertising programs from concept to completion across thousands of outputs annually including video, billboards, catalogs, emails, social media, digital media, in-stores signage and content production.
The Project Manager manages creative projects from initiation to completion and coordinates across marketing channel owners, internal and external creative resources, content producers, merchandising and executive level approvals as needed based on each individual marketing program. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and possess the ability to assess workload or scheduling conflicts and identify solutions in a timely and fluid manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages and monitors scheduling, trafficking, planning and resource management of thousands of creative marketing and advertising projects annually from program initiation through final output including video production, outdoor, direct mail, email creative, website creative, photoshoots, social media, influencers and more
  • Creates and manages project plans/timelines, weekly status and manages project related meetings
  • Schedules creative agency briefings, marketing channel reviews, merch reviews, executive team reviews, etc
  • Actively and quickly identifies workload and scheduling conflicts or roadblocks and partners with those impacted to identify solutions in a timely and fluid manner to ensure all marketing programs stay on track. Knows when to elevate concerns over timelines and schedules to Supervisor.
  • Actively and seamlessly adjusts projects and schedules in accordance with changing business and marketing priorities and goals and/or resource constraints.
  • Tracks new project requests from across the organization and embeds them within ongoing marketing work flows
  • Collaborates with agency partners on orchestrating schedules and ensuring all stakeholders are aware of key milestone dates
  • Actively Identifies and recommends opportunities for process efficiencies and organization
  • Create guidelines, train agency partners and cross-functional teams on project management tools
  • Understands how different parts of the creative team function and work including art directors, copy writers, copy editing, photography, video production, etc.
  • Manage, lead and create agenda for weekly Creative Reviews

  • Maintain effective and on-going communications and relationship with internal cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy to ensure communication with marketing leaders and other functional areas Effectively communicate relevant project information to team(s) and stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day communication with agency partners, channel leads, merchandising teams and content/design team
  • Updates weekly team status documents and distributes hot sheets to keep projects and priorities moving forward
