Job description

Hologic is seeking a dynamic and driven Surgical Territory Manager (TM) to join our Canadian sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device sales, with a focus on surgical products and the operating room.

The TM will successfully manage a territory promoting the company's GYN surgical products to meet established sales objectives and goals in an ethical manner.

Knowledge
  • Understanding of medical device sales practices, including capital equipment and disposable product sales within surgical environments.
  • Knowledge of hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures and the clinical workflows associated with operating room environments.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare system, hospital procurement processes, and healthcare purchasing dynamics.
  • Understanding of territory planning, account development, and sales forecasting practices.
  • Knowledge of clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement considerations, and managed care policies that support product adoption.
  • Awareness of competitive products, market dynamics, and customer needs within the surgical device market.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and tools used to track customer engagement, sales activities, and account management.
  • Working knowledge of common business software including Microsoft Office applications.

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including overnight travel approximately 2-3 times per week.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to approximately 25 pounds for demonstrations or clinical support.

Additional Info:

The annualized base salary range for this role is $72,200 to $112,600 plus eligibility to earn variable commission plus benefits. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
