Job description

The Firm seeks a patent litigation associate who is excited to work on cutting-edge technology for the world's top tech companies. We are looking for someone withthe technical chops to be able to discuss details with engineers and developers; patent litigation case management experience including driving contentions, Markman, and written and oral fact and expert discovery; and the confidence to interact with well-known giants in the tech world. The position will involve direct partner and client interaction, and unique complex opportunities that come from working for a truly global law firm.

The ideal candidate is a mid- to senior-level associate with at least 3 years of experience, to sit in either our San Francisco or Washington, D.C. office. Applicants should have a degree in technology-related engineering, applied physics or mathematics, computer science, or equivalent experience, and a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school. U.S. Bar membership is required.

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate's qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses.Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
