Job description

Marcus by Goldman Sachs – Delivery Workforce Planning and Hiring Process Manager, Vice President Overview

Marcus by Goldman Sachs is the online consumer banking arm of Goldman Sachs, offering high‑yield savings accounts and Certificates of Deposit directly to consumers. The position will lead workforce planning and high‑volume hiring for Marcus’s Delivery team worldwide, ensuring adequate staffing across India, the UK, and the US to support business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Delivery management to develop, maintain, and execute short‑ and long‑term workforce plans aligned with growth targets.
  • Identify and implement improvements in forecasting, hiring processes, and resource planning to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Finance, Marketing, and HCM partners to align hiring requirements with business initiatives and meet service‑level targets.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on forecasting, resource plans, and hiring metrics, including candidate flow and pipeline issues.
  • Manage resource plan execution, identify blockers, and work with stakeholders to optimize processes.
  • Ensure systems, role updates, and sourcing align with the resource plan.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • Degree or relevant experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience managing workforce resource plans, including predictive modeling and senior‑level communication.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing a team.
  • Experience in project management: process design, improvement, execution, and KPI reporting.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to present to senior executives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
  • Strong judgment, multitasking skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a digital or retail banking environment.
  • Experience developing staffing forecasts for multi‑channel, multi‑provider contact centers.
  • Preferred experience with predictive analytics (SPSS, SAP, R, Python).
