First National Bank of Oneida has been in business since 1904. We are the oldest corporation in Scott County, Tennessee. Our first name was '"The Scott County Bank." In 1905 the shareholders sought a national charter, and the bank became known as “The Scott County National Bank." By 1914 two other banks had been organized in Scott County - The First National Bank of Huntsville and The Robbins Bank and Trust Company. On April 25, 1919, the Scott County National Bank's name changed to the First National Bank of Oneida.
