JOB TITLE: Ethics & Compliance Program Consultant II, Sr, Lead

PAY RANGE:
Ethics & Compliance Program Consultant II - 14A: $66,600 - $99,800
Sr Ethics & Compliance Program Consultant - 15A: $75,300 - $100,400
Lead Ethics & Compliance Program Consultant - 16A: $88,800 - $118,400
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job may require additional hours as required.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the development, administration, continuous improvement, and effectiveness of the Company's Ethics and Compliance Program. The role promotes a culture of integrity by helping employees understand and apply the Company's ethical standards, compliance obligations, and expectations for conduct. The position partners closely with Legal, Human Resources, Operations, and business leadership to develop engaging compliance communications, training, awareness initiatives, and governance processes that support ethical decision-making and compliance across the organization.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Administers and maintains the Company's Code of Ethics and corporate policies.
  • Reviews and updates the Code of Ethics and related program elements against industry peers, regulatory expectations, and leading practices.
  • Monitors, tracks, and maintains Code of Ethics disclosures, requests for guidance, and employee inquiries, identifying trends and recommending opportunities for program enhancement.
  • Coordinates, reviews, and provides governance over compliance training deployed throughout the organization to support consistency, quality, and alignment with enterprise expectations. Develops and deploys the Code of Ethics training.
  • Creates and delivers ethics and compliance awareness education and communications that strengthens ethical culture and translates complex compliance concepts into clear, relevant, and actionable information for employees at all levels.
    • Utilizes a variety of learning and communication methods, including computer-based training, presentations, videos, infographics, digital content, and employee events.
    • Partners with other compliance functions and stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute coordinated ethics and compliance communications, awareness campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
  • Promotes ethical leadership and a culture of integrity through employee engagement activities, leadership outreach, and ethics-focused initiatives.
  • Coordinates the annual compliance risk assessment process and maintains governance, risk, and compliance system data to support enterprise compliance program activities.
  • Develops, analyzes, and reports Ethics & Compliance program metrics, key performance indicators, and effectiveness measures for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of ethics and compliance training, communications, and awareness initiatives through participation data, employee feedback, engagement metrics, and other program measures, recommending enhancements as appropriate.
    • Identifies and implements innovative approaches to improve employee engagement, knowledge retention, and program effectiveness.
  • Performs special projects and assists with internal investigations, compliance reviews, and other program activities as needed.
  • Supports the ongoing development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Company's Ethics & Compliance Program and related culture initiatives.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years experience supporting or managing compliance, ethics, risk management, audit, legal, governance, or related corporate programs required.
  • Certification in compliance or ethics (e.g., CCEP, CCEP-I) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and supporting compliance, ethics, training, communication, or employee engagement initiatives is preferred, including:
    • Developing and implementing policies, training programs, awareness initiatives, or other activities that support an effective ethics and compliance program
    • Designing and delivering training and awareness materials through a variety of formats, including computer-based training, presentations, digital communications, videos, infographics, and other multimedia content.
    • Leveraging content development, graphic design, learning management, and communication tools to enhance employee learning and awareness.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Experience analyzing program data, metrics, and trends to evaluate effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
  • High level of integrity and ethical judgment. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple business functions and influencing outcomes without direct authority preferred.
  • Job Level Guidelines and Years of Experience at each level. Job level placement will be based on the candidate's overall qualifications.
    • Lead Level: Progression to this level is on a limited basis. This level requires 8 years of related experience and incumbents must demonstrate specialized depth and breadth of expertise before moving to this level. This level is seen as a resident expert for the functional area and recognized for expertise externally with other entities. Individuals in this band are recognized experts within their function and provide guidance and support to less experienced co-workers and lead project teams. (Lead in title)
    • Career Level: Individuals generally possess in-depth knowledge/experience and may provide guidance and support to less experienced co-workers. Solves complex problems and contributes to process improvements. This is the level at which most individual contributors grow and stabilize for many years, if not for the duration of their career. Very few move to the lead level as specialized expertise in a field or function. Must have at least 5 years of related experience before moving to a career level role. (Sr in title)
    • Intermediate Level: Demonstrates broader capability to take on more complex assignments and an enhanced level of working knowledge and experience in own job discipline. May continue to develop and seek support from senior level roles and peers. Applies more expertise in profession to achieve results. Requires 2 years of related experience before moving to an intermediate role. (II in title)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
  • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI, learning management systems, communication platforms, content development tools, or governance-risk-compliance systems is preferred.
  • Ability to influence outcomes, drive collaboration, and support organizational objectives through relationship-building, strategic thinking, and subject matter expertise.
