Job description

Position Summary

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry‑leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them. In the National Account Manager – Special Markets position, you’ll develop key corporate relationships to maintain, uncover and close incremental new business across all of Direct Supply’s Lines of Business and sales programs. You’ll foster relationships with customers’ highest‑level decision makers, leverage industry insights, and lead cross‑functional selling teams to meet and exceed sales targets in the assigned territory.

Exhibits proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business productivity tools. Prioritizes competing responsibilities, manages multiple projects simultaneously, coordinates schedules and resources, and consistently delivers high‑quality work within deadlines.

What You’ll Do and Impact
  • Coordinate and lead cross‑functional internal selling teams to drive incremental new business across all Direct Supply Lines of Business and sales programs.
  • Evaluate territory, analyze trends, prioritize opportunities, and develop strategies to meet unique customer needs with the greatest impact for the business.
  • Develop owner‑ and executive‑level relationships with new and existing customers and tailor solutions to meet the customer’s current state.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to C‑suite customers at the customer’s location, hosted at Direct Supply’s campus, and over the phone.
  • Implement corporate‑program and product roll‑outs, leveraging Marketing resources to develop customized guides and electronic messages.
  • Communicate progress on customer opportunities across selling teams and business units (using CRM, regular meetings, and other agreed‑upon methods).
  • Develop deep customer insights and mobilize teams to resolve quality and technical issues at corporate and community levels.
  • Leverage Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) relationships to increase effectiveness and deliver value to the customer.
  • Work closely with National Accounts Operations to understand and maintain customer purchasing system accuracy.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 7+ years of sales experience.
  • History of meeting and exceeding budget goals with progressive sales responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 50%.
  • Valid, unexpired driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
