Job description

Job Summary:
Diamondback Energy is seeking a Production Analyst responsible for analyzing and maintaining production reports. The role involves filing regulatory forms, communicating with third-party representatives, and developing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to managers and engineers in all stages of development, analysis and presentation of data using knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and other software
• Generate high-quality reports and presentations for departmental and upper management use
• Perform trend analysis
• Create queries in various software and generate reports as needed
• Import/maintain production data (oil/gas/water)
• Provide production data and reports in conjunction with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for loading, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data into various databases and software applications
• Prepare and analyze monthly gas and oil data from reporting services to provide accurate data to other Business Units and regulatory agencies
• Review daily new wells data and production to assist field offices in maintaining the accuracy of delivery systems and allocation
• Generate reports and provide information to internal clients and regulatory agencies as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting or Finance
• Three (3+) years of industry experience as a Production Analyst
• Three (3+) years of advanced Excel experience, creating and configuring VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Sum IF formulas and charts
• Ability to perform data mining across multiple platforms
Preferred:
• Minimum One (1+) year of experience using ProCount, Carte, eVIn, Spotfire, and SAP
• Experience within the oil and gas industry
• Knowledge of field flows
