Technology underpins Deutsche Bank's entire business and is changing and shaping the way we engage, interact and transact with our stakeholders, internally and externally.
Our Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) strategy is strengthening our engineering expertise, introducing an agile delivery model, and is modernizing the bank's IT infrastructure with long-term investments and taking advantage of cloud computing and AI.
We are building a team of visionary technology talent that will ensure that we thrive in this period of unprecedented change for the industry. That means hiring the right people and giving them the training, freedom and opportunity they need to do pioneering work.
About the role:
Our technology teams deliver and manage engineering solutions to support the bank's global customers. They develop and deliver solutions to help modernize technology solutions, to reduce complexity and risk, and to drive business growth.
Depending on your rotation you will gain expertise in:
  • hands on coding in languages that could include Java, Python, and others
  • usage of cloud and AI technologies to solve complex financial problems
  • practical experience of technology solution development, working in an Agile team structure

Our Technology Intern Program offers you a wide variety of opportunities within technology, and we're looking for bright minds like yours to help us make pioneering strides in today's fast-moving digital world. Through job placements, training courses, seminars, and a variety of networking events you will gain a wide range of practical experience and interpersonal skills with a bank that's truly driving change in the financial and digital world.
What we look for:
We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. To be considered for this role, students must possess or be on track to graduate with a Bachelor/Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Our comprehensive training programs will give you all the technical knowledge you'll need to build a career with us.
To be eligible for 2027 Internship Program you must:
  • Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st December 2027 and 31st July 2028.
  • Be able to work full-time during the 10-week summer internship (June - August 2027), subject to local working legislation.
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
