Job description

Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the Operations Team in the areas of efficiency, production line layout/flow, continuous improvement projects and support of day to day manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Refine and update existing documentation.
  • Assist with training and technical support of Operations personnel
  • Assist with CAPA investigations and Corrective Actions
  • Support Lean initiatives such as 6S, Daily Accountability process
  • Support/lead continuous improvement projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
  • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision - Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years experience required
  • Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Intermediate MS Office skills - Excel, Word, PP and Visio
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Work is performed in a normal office environment with periodic work performed in a controlled manufacturing area requiring protective clothing and safety glasses.
