Position Overview:

This position is designed to provide on-the-job training while working alongside a full-time mentor to build and cultivate strong customer relationships. You will develop leads, consult with clients, and bind coverage to help customers manage their unique insurance and financial needs. At the same time, you'll gain valuable experience learning the logistics of managing a business and developing your professional skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify potential customers
  • Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships with consistent follow-up
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients on insurance options including auto, home, renters, commercial, liability, life, health, and more
  • Consult and recommend insurance products tailored to client needs
  • Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive quotes
  • Utilize CRM and insurance software to manage client information and communications
  • Meet or exceed sales and retention goals through excellent service and proactive outreach

Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales preferred (outside sales, inside sales, retail, telemarketing, or customer service)
  • Experience managing client relationships a plus
  • Strong interest in marketing insurance and financial products based on client needs
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Dedicated to providing outstanding customer service
  • Ability to anticipate and address customer needs effectively
  • Self-motivated, independent, initiative-driven, and goal-oriented
