OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.
As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
THE TEAM
The global Pre Openings team ensures operational readiness, project efficiency, and strong cross-functional alignment throughout the full hotel pre-opening lifecycle. The team oversees the 56-month critical path, supports The Reveal readiness, and drives regional consistency and asset improvement initiatives.
Working closely with Experience Design, Procurement, Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Talent & Culture, regional operations teams, and ownership groups, the Pre Openings function plays a central role in preparing every new hotel to open successfully and deliver an extraordinary brand experience.
YOUR ROLE
As Senior Project Manager, Pre Openings, AMER, you will drive the successful execution of new hotel openings across the Americas region. You will manage the 56-month critical path, ensure alignment between corporate, regional, and property teams, and maintain disciplined project execution from planning through The Reveal.
Your leadership will shape operational readiness, uphold brand standards, guide cross-functional coordination, and mitigate risks across the development timeline. You will also contribute to long-term asset enhancement plans, ensuring hotels evolve in line with Rosewood's standards of excellence and guest experience expectations.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE
  • Manage and monitor the 56-month pre-opening roadmap, identifying gaps early and providing structured updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead coordinated, cross-functional progress meetings from M-12 onward, ensuring alignment between corporate teams, regional operations, and property leaders.
  • Oversee operational readiness across all disciplines, ensuring service design, training, and brand standards are in place for soft opening and The Reveal.
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks, recommending timely and practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Serve as the regional lead for pre-opening logistics, coordinating readiness activities across Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Spa, and other disciplines.
  • Drive structured project management for 5-year asset improvement plans, partnering with regional VP Operations to prioritize and secure alignment.
  • Support owner engagement by helping secure buy-in, documentation, and capital investment for improvement initiatives.

COULD THIS BE YOU?
  • You bring strong experience in hotel operations, project management, or pre-opening leadership roles.
  • You have a proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects within hospitality.
  • You understand luxury brand standards and the full lifecycle of hotel pre-opening requirements.
  • You communicate confidently and effectively, building trust across corporate teams, regional leaders, and property-level partners.
  • You are highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You collaborate naturally across disciplines, cultures, and regions, keeping teams aligned and informed.
  • You remain calm under pressure and are proactive in finding solutions to keep projects moving.
  • You are passionate about operational excellence, project delivery, and creating exceptional brand experiences.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard - and valued. We're a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We're not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them - and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
