Job Responsibilities:
Creative Execution & Brand Stewardship
- Lead the design and production of creative assets across print, digital, web, events, environmental graphics, and presentations, translating marketing strategies and business objectives into compelling visual communications
- Manage projects from concept through final production, delivering on time and to established quality standards while balancing competing priorities with strong attention to detail
- Serve as the department's visual design expert, ensuring all work aligns with Clyde Companies' brand standards and visual identity
- Recommend creative approaches that strengthen brand recognition, customer experience, and marketing effectiveness
- Partner with the Director of Marketing & Communications to maintain visual consistency across enterprise and subsidiary brands and support future brand evolution
- Develop and maintain brand templates, design systems, asset libraries, and workflows that increase consistency, efficiency, and scalability
Creative Collaboration
- Provide design consultation and present concepts with clear rationale that builds stakeholder confidence and alignment
- Collaborate with external vendors, printers, photographers, and creative partners, and support sourcing and managing freelance creatives as needed
Creative Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain organized file structures and production-ready assets that support long-term team efficiency
- Maintain brand portals with up-to-date, accessible resources, including style guides, logos, and collateral
- Evaluate emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements that enhance creative quality and effectiveness
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with familiarity in motion graphics, presentation design, and AI-powered creative tools
- Expertise in branding, typography, layout, visual storytelling, and design systems, supported by a strong portfolio
- Knowledge of file preparation for print production, signage, environmental graphics, and large-format applications
- Ability to develop creative concepts and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple media
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders while consistently delivering high-quality work on deadline.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with project management and workflow systems (preferred)
Education and Certificates:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, creative services, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting multiple brands within a corporate, agency, or shared-services environment (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching in office, event, or production environments
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., printed materials, signage, event or display assets, equipment)
- Occasional travel to events, print vendors, photo shoots, or subsidiary locations as needed
