What are nurses?
What is the difference between Nurse vs Medical Assistant?
| Aspect | Nurse | Medical Assistant |
|---|---|---|
| Required Credentials | Licensed RN or LPN, state licensure | Post-secondary certificate or diploma, no licensure needed |
| Work Environment | Hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities | Doctor's offices, outpatient clinics, hospitals |
| Job Responsibilities | Patient care, administering medications, monitoring health | Vital signs, patient prep, administrative tasks |
