Job Title: Senior Superintendent
Location: Sarasota, FL, to Houston, TX with extensive travel
Reports to: Emergency Response Director or his assignee such as an Area Manager
Compensation Range: $ 125,000 - $ 150,000 annually (depending on location, experience, skills and qualifications)
Other Compensation: Eligible for discretionary bonus

What We Are Looking For
We are hiring several senior-level Superintendent who excels in fastpaced, operationally complex environments and can lead field teams through all phases of disaster recovery and construction projects. The ideal candidate brings strong field leadership, operational discipline, and financial acumen, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and changing conditions.
You will be handson, safetydriven, and highly organized, capable of planning work, directing the daily activities of workers and subcontractors, managing materials and schedules, and ensuring strict adherence to contract requirements. Success in this role requires the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, resolve issues quickly in the field, and interface effectively with government representatives, inspectors, suppliers, and labor representatives while maintaining clear communication with project management.
We are looking for a leader who takes ownership of outcomes, holds teams accountable, and consistently looks for ways to improve productivity, quality, and profitability. This role requires the ability to work extended hours when needed, thrives in deployed and travelheavy roles, and be responsive to disasteraffected environments with minimal notice to stabilize operations and deliver results.
Above all, this role demands a Superintendent who champions a safetyfirst culture, leads by example, and balances operational execution with financial and workforce awareness to drive successful project completion.

What to Expect
The Superintendent role supports active disaster recovery operations and requires flexibility, resilience, and handson field leadership. Deployments may occur with short notice to disasteraffected areas across the U.S., often involving long hours, extended workdays, and challenging site conditions.
You will spend most of your time in the field leading crews and subcontractors, coordinating work activities, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring safety, compliance, productivity, and cost control. Conditions may be fastchanging, and decisions made in the field directly impact project outcomes.
Schedules can be demanding during active response periods, including weekends and consecutive workdays. This role is wellsuited for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, take ownership of results, and are motivated by restoring communities after disasters.
This position is not ideal for those seeking predictable schedules, limited travel, or primarily officebased work.
