Position Summary
Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, one of the world's leading tire manufacturers, is seeking an Electrical Engineer at the Aiken County PSR/LTR Plant.
The Electrical Engineering position researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. In this role you will apply practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. This position must be able to work independently with general supervision and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
Responsibilities
  • Works on mechanical problems of moderate scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from higher level professionals
  • Applies research to the planning, design development and testing of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
  • Supports continuous improvement/automation activities

Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
